The Kumamoto-based new semiconductor factory for Sony Group and TSMC began its recruiting process. The joint company of the two international makers is currently offering job positions to young engineers who will finish their graduate and master degrees in March, 2023. Training programs will be given in Taiwan to those who get recruited. This is in addition to assigning some 300 Taiwanese engineers to the factory, and the entire project expects involvements of around 1,700 workers. Source: Yomiuri / Kumanichi
