A project led by Kyushu University students aims to introduce tuk-tuks to Itoshima. The Itop organization is trying to help revitalize the local area by supporting initiatives that facilitate development and growth. The students believe that operating the Thai-style rickshaws can help improve access to areas in Itoshima that are not easily accessible without a car, provide assistance to visitors traveling around the city, and create an exciting new tourist attraction.
