Two Paralympians from Fukuoka won gold medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Misato Michishita, living in Dazaifu City, won the women’s marathon race for visually impaired competitors. Also, Fukuoka City-native Daiki Kajiwara won the men’s singles badminton tournament in his wheelchair at the age of 19. The games of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics officially closed on Sunday evening.
