Kyushu Electric Power announced it had resumed operations at the Yamakawa geothermal plant in Ibusuki, Kagoshima Prefecture, and the diesel fuel Shinarikawa Plant at Shinkamigoto-cho in Nagasaki. The Yamakawa plant had a problem with its water circulation pumps, while the Shinarikawa plant had difficulties with the lubricating devices on its cylinders. The output of the first plant is 19,000 kW, while that of the second is 10,000 kW.
