Police arrested Ken Matsui, 30, and Naoya Kishira, 32, for allegedly assaulting a 25-year-old self-employed man in a park in Yahata Nishi Ward in July. The two reportedly punched the victim and pressed a lit cigarette to his face, causing injuries requiring ten days of treatment. Investigators said the suspects had no prior connection to the man but believed, without verification, that he was involved with the wife of an employee at Matsui’s company.
