A mini electric vehicle sharing service began in Itoshima City, Fukuoka. Toyota’s two-seater EV, ‘C+pod, became available at three spots to provide a new mobility option for the locals and tourists alike. Those who sign up for the Toyota Share smartphone application can rent those cars just by booking online. (Price: ¥200/15 min, ¥3,800/6 hrs, ¥5,300/12 hrs, etc.) The service was developed as part of Itoshima’s ‘Yokamachi Future Project’ that creates future-oriented mobility services. The project also began the operation of two AI-based on-demand microbuses after the preceding trial period. (¥200 per ride. Booking accepted via app or phone.)

• Sone Kominkan (曽根公民館) *Free for Sone Jichikai members
• Itoshima Shoko Kaikan (糸島市商工会館) *Free for residents of Maebaru school zone.
• Kafuri Community Center (加布里コミュニティセンター) *Free for residents of Kafuri school zone.
(*An NOC option is available for an additional ¥330.)
