Typhoon Prapiroon (Typhoon Number 7) continues to move north and away from Okinawa, heading towards Kyushu. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, typhoon no. 7 will continue to move northeast and will bring heavy rain across a wide area of western Japan. Southern Kyushu is expected to endure the strongest winds with 70 millimeters of rainfall per hour, while northern Kyushu can also expect heavy rain and strong winds tonight. In 24 hours up to Tuesday noon, northern Kyushu, including Fukuoka, is predicted to see 200 millimeters of rainfall.
