Japan Airlines conducted its first test of an inter-islands delivery system using an uncrewed helicopter in Nagasaki Prefecture. On February 18, the helicopter flew out of sight and traveled a round trip of 46 kilometers between Kamigoto Airport and Ojika Airport, carrying medical goods. The next day, another test to deliver freshly caught fish from a port of Kamigoto to a restaurant in Tokyo on the same day took place, combining land delivery, an uncrewed flight, and a cargo flight between Nagasaki and Haneda airports.
