Starting April 1, JR Kyushu will offer additional features for what it calls Active 65 tickets to those aged 65 and older. The tickets, which have been sold since last November, offer unlimited travel on JR Kyushu trains, though with a limited frequency for reserved seats. The new features will allow the tickets to be used by married couples, even if only one is old enough to qualify. The original tickets could be used for three days, but the new versions will also allow use for only two days.
