Unwanted Clothes Exchanged for Shopping Vouchers

Two commercial facilities in Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, have launched an “Ecoff” recycling campaign, offering shopping vouchers in exchange for unwanted clothing in line with the spring wardrobe change season. The “ECOFF (Ecoff) Recycling” campaign, combining environmental “ECO” and burden reduction “OFF,” is a circular initiative where unwanted clothing and other items are collected in exchange for shopping vouchers. Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin store is collaborating with Fukuoka Parco on this project. In addition to clothing, customers can bring up to nine items per person, including shoes and bags, and receive a 1,000 yen shopping coupon for each item, which can be used at Daimaru and Parco. The collected unwanted items will be recycled into materials for new clothing and other products. Unwanted items will be collected at the 8th floor event hall of Daimaru until April 3rd.
