Unzen City Introduces Electric-assisted Bicycle for Tourists

On August 1, a new electric-assisted bicycle rental service was launched in Unzen, Nagasaki Prefecture. Operated by Unzen Mirai Kataru Inc., the project offers five Taiwanese-made, electric-assisted bicycles. The hilly areas of Unzen Onsen and Obama Onsen have numerous historical spots and natural beauties. Four recommended routes have been created for guests with different preferences and levels of physical fitness. Route guidance is available on Google Maps, and the stylish bikes are equipped with smartphone holders. Source: NHK
