Vaccine Bookings Put on Hold in Parts of Kyushu

Unexpected COVID-19 vaccine supply shortages have affected local vaccination plans in Kyushu. The cities of Fukuoka, Karatsu (Saga,) Nagasaki, and two more have temporarily suspended new bookings as of Jul. 6. While the booking system for Fukuoka City had resumed as of Jul. 7, more municipalities around Kyushu are announcing suspensions of part of their inoculation programs. Additionally, Fukuoka Prefecture announced that it failed to secure doses for its priority groups, including nursery teachers, eatery staff, and more. Source:  Saga TV / NHK
