Fukuoka City hired Hiroyuki Nishimura, founder of ‘2Channel’ (*current ‘5Channel’) online forum, as its advisor for the digitization of public administration. The France-residing web entrepreneur will direct the city’s digital innovation by providing technical advice online until the end of March. In collaboration with three additional specialist advisors, the project aims to improve the efficiency of the city’s online procedures.
