In celebration of becoming the newest government-accredited Japanese language school, in Fukuoka, Genki Japanese and Cultural School (GenkiJACS) is offering one year of free tuition to one lucky applicant. After 10 years of operation, GenkiJACS’ Fukuoka branch has received Japanese government accreditation. This will allow the school to provide student visas for eligible students, who can study in Fukuoka for one year, starting from April 2016. As a special campaign to celebrate their new accreditation, GenkiJACS will be offering one year of free tuition at their Fukuoka school plus a student visa to one lucky lucky person. To enter, simply submit a video of 1 to 3 minutes in length on the theme ‘Why I would love to study for a year at GenkiJACS’. Post the video to YouTube with an appropriate title and include the hashtag #oneyearwithgenkijacs. The winning entry will be announced on November 13, on the official competition page. Entrants must either already have a long-term visa for Japan, or meet the requirements for a Japanese student visa (i.e. have completed high school, and have at least 150 hours of Japanese study experience).
