Winged Dinosaur Fossils Found in Nagasaki

The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum confirmed that 15 fossil specimens of winged dinosaurs have been discovered in Nagasaki City in a soil layer about 84 million years old. It is the second discovery of winged dinosaur fossils in Kyushu, after a site in Kumamoto Prefecture, and the first discovery of multiple parts of the same winged dinosaur in Japan. The dinosaur was a pterosaur with a wingspan estimated at three to four meters.
