A wireless LAN will be installed in the Uo-machi shopping district and the Uo-machi Itchome shopping District in Kitakyushu next April, it was announced. The LAN will allow shoppers access via cell phones or game equipment, enabling them to acquire information on sales and special events. The network will be installed in all 140 shops of both districts, which extend for a total length of 400 meters.
