Woman Arrested After Assault at Anime Exhibit

A 28-year-old Chinese national was arrested on the spot for allegedly assaulting a female staff member at the “Demon Slayer: Hashira Exhibition – To the Infinity Castle” in Fukuoka City Museum on April 30. The woman reportedly became agitated after being denied the purchase of nearly all of the venue’s exclusive badges due to purchase limits. After arguing with a 45-year-old staff member, she allegedly struck her with her elbow and rammed into her twice. Another staff member witnessed the incident and called police, who arrested the suspect for assault. The woman, a company employee residing in Fukuoka’s Nishi Ward, denies the charges, claiming she only “stumbled and made contact.” Source: RKB
