The Fukuoka-based startup, Yamap, announced the ranking of mountains in Kyushu that attracted the most climbers in 2021. Kuju Renzan (Kuju mountain range 1,791 m) was the most popular, followed by Mt. Homan (829 m), which has become increasingly popular thanks to its connection to the “Demon Slayer” manga series. The ranking was based on the number of Yamap app users who reached the summit of regional mountains.
