Yaskawa Electric Parts to Be Used in E-Car
Kitakyushu-based Yaskawa Electric revealed that a motor and invertor it produces will be used in the Mazda Demio EV, an e-vehicle that will be offered for lease starting in October. It is the first time the company’s parts will be used in an e-vehicle. Both the motor and the invertor were jointly developed with Mazda in a project that began several years ago.
