Kitakyushu-based Yaskawa Electric announced plans to establish a presence in the solar power industry due to rising interest in natural energy. They intend to use their control technology for precision technology to create a solar power generator and storage unit that tracks the sun like a sunflower. They hope to begin production of the basic device by the middle of next year.
