Yaskawa to Open New Plant in China
Kitakyushu-based Yaskawa Electric announced it will establish a subsidiary in Shenyang, China, and begin production of motors there next year. The motors will be sold to machine tool makers in northern China, and they hope the subsidiary achieves 30 billion in sales by 2011. It will be Yaskawa’s third production site in that country.
