The Kyushu Economic Research Center released its sales rankings for suburban shopping malls in Kyushu, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and Okinawa Prefecture for FY 2006. At the top of the list was the Youme Town mall in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, with roughly 26 billion yen in sales. The four-highest malls all had more than 20 billion yen worth of sales. The highest-ranked Fukuoka City mall was Youme Town Hakata, which finished in seventh place.
