Young Artists Paint City Center
Seven murals will delight visitors to Fukuoka from Sep 14~Oct 8 during the Machinaka Art display. One has been painted on the construction fence surrounding Kego Park in Tenjin. Others can be found in and around Tenjin and Hakata including: Amu Plaza Hakata, Reizenso, the former Hakata Primary School, Kawabata Chuo Shotengai, two spots in Kego Park, and Nakasu Hakatabune. The art will be judged on the theme of “Change”, and includes the work of five groups of artists in different genres, including paintings and graffiti, and the works of two groups of artists from Busan, South Korea.
