Valentina is a professional instructor of Arabian dance, and her performances literally light up the room! Crowned with a nine-pronged candelabrum, she entertains crowds with her performances of Oriental Belly Dance, a skill which she has been perfecting since she began training in her college years. Because of Turkey’s close proximity to her homeland of Moldova, Valentina draws much of her influence from the Turkish style of Belly Dance, although she explains that many different styles are incorporated into her choreography. For the past year she has been working to pass on her knowledge of this ancient art to residents of Fukuoka, and also to promote an accurate understanding of the true beauty of Oriental Dance. Valentina holds classes at several studios around town and is also available to entertain at events.
