Warren Fryar

A self-proclaimed “sonic adventurer”, Warren’s earliest musical memories come from church singing. His father played guitar and his brother, trumpet; Warren plays both—and he sings, too! He’s the lead singer of the local band Cut Flowers, and a popular performer at weddings. He’s also the organizer behind “The Basement”, a monthly showcase of local international musical talent held on the last Tuesday of each month at Early Believers. It’s a great venue for musicians to meet each other and for live music fans to catch a variety of acts. Warren, Jon Wilks and Dave Borgeson have created a record label, Afronaut Records, and have just released the debut album of Nanbanjin, an international band from Oita.
