A one-day market featuring all kinds of eco-friendly food, daily supplies, and general goods is set to take place at a temple in the center of Fukuoka. One of the main aims of the event is to keep things simple and close to nature. More than 20 stalls will be set up by traders from all over Kyushu, offering visitors the chance to explore a range of foods and items, including south Indian curries, stone-baked pizzas, spices, foods preserved using traditional methods, tatami mats, ethical clothes, fair trade coffee, organic vegetables, as well vegan sweets. Enjoy interacting with producers as you shop, but don’t forget that visitors are expected to bring their own bags, chopsticks, and cups!
