It’s not October yet, but celebrations are starting early at local brewery Suginoya. Enjoy local beer with family and friends at Suginoya Oktoberfest (Nishi-ku) over the next two weekends! Open since 1870, Suginoya is famous for its sake and original branded beer. Some Suginoya specials include: Real Alt, Amber Ale, Pale Ale, Stout and limited summer special White Beer. You can also try brewery’s latest sake product AKAKA, along with their popular Yogurt Amaou, a liqueur made from Fukuoka’s Amaou strawberries and locally-sourced milk (also avail. online). There’s a bakery on-site where you can try their special “local beer bread”! Prost!
