Maybe you didn’t notice, but the Jamaican population in Fukuoka doubled. Now there’s at least two Jamaicans in town. And this one’s busy spreading authentic Jamaican flavor around town. From his minivan mobile kitchen, complete with custom-built charcoal-burning drum, Ibo serves succulent spicy jerk chicken, pea rice, red bean soup and more. Chicken and fried green banana chips are just ¥500. Sometimes parked in Daimyo, sometimes Oyafuko, sometimes points in between you’re more like to smell the sweet smoke before you spot him. 最近、福岡のジャマイカ人口が倍になった（…というか2人）。そのうちの一人が今回紹介するアイボ。彼は最近流行りのミニバンで福岡の街に本場ジャマイカ料理を広めているピースフルなラスタマンだ。メニューはピリ辛のジャークチキンやピースご飯、レッドビーンスープなどなど本場の味。おすすめのチキンとグリーンバナナチップのセットは500円で食べられる。大名や親不孝、その周辺では彼を見つける前に、く〜んと甘くてスパイシーな香りが漂ってくるはずだ。15:00〜22:00/電話080-3796-3799
