Now on its 10th year, Against is an experimental music and film festival in Fukuoka. Headlining this year is American performance artist and musician John Duncan as Red Sky together with Jim O’Rourke, Eiko Ishibashi, and Joe Tala. Don’t miss performances by Tokyo-based voice artist Ayako Kanda, who’ll be touring west Japan for the first time, as well as 12-member European jazz band Large Unit.
