Boosted by the high yen, more Japanese are taking overseas trips, and that is the reason cited for the success of discount airline Air Busan’s Fukuoka – Busan route. The increase in Japanese passengers has resulted in a ridership rate of more than 80% in October. This is expected to rise further with the yearend holiday season.
