Japan Airlines introduces a cheaper domestic fare for travelers coming from overseas, called “oneworld® YOKOSO/Visit KYUSHU Fare”, in hopes of attracting more visitors and boosting the local economy through tourism. JAL’s new domestic fare is available for flights going from Tokyo (Haneda/Narita) or Osaka (Itami) to certain parts of Kyushu. Route destinations cover Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Kitakyushu, Kagoshima, Miyazaki, Nagasaki and Oita. Cutting JAL’s original “oneworld Yokoso/Visit Japan Fare” in half, the new fare will only be ¥5,400 for one sector (tax included). Applies to flights between Jun. 17 and Oct. 29, 2016.
