Winter is approaching but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun outdoors, as a group of four Japanese language students from the UK prove. Their mission was to see as much and do as much as they could in Itoshima using a rental car for 12 hours. The result is this month’s feature: Itoshima Adventure – Winter Edition! Check out their route which included a forest adventure, visit to a traditional salt factory, lunch at the oyster huts, frisbee on the beach and more! Last issue we announced Fukuoka’s first-ever LGBT Rainbow Parade and this issue we follow up with a report complete with many photos. Our interview this month was with Rupert Singleton, a professional photographer who moved to Fukuoka one year ago from Singapore. For your dining pleasure we introduce Toriden, a classy place to enjoy mizutaki, one of Hakata’s most traditional dishes. We also present four new guides! Winter Illumination Guide, Itoshima Oyster Hut Guide, Hiking Guide – Hiko-san and a Rental Bicycle Guide Bicycle. Our regular features such as Fukuoka City Bulletin, and Fukuoka Topic are also worth a peek! This is our last issue for 2014 – we hoped you enjoyed all the news, events, and topics from Fukuoka (NOW!)
