Japan’s best craftsmen exhibit and sell ceramics, porcelain, lacquerware, and handicrafts. In addition to the collaboration of ikebana and flower vases made by the exhibiting potters and artists, the “Okawa Traditional Craft Exhibition” will be held at the same time, displaying and selling furniture products and interior sundries made with the skills of master craftsmen, such as kumiko, a special craft designated by Fukuoka Prefecture, paulownia chests, and Kakegawa textiles. Visitors can enjoy workshops such as pottery making and painting, as well as local foods at the Umakamon Market.
