Torikai Hachimangu Shrine, known for its forward-thinking approach, will hold the “Something TORI!! Festival” this autumn, celebrating all things “tori” (meaning both “bird” and “trick” in Japanese). The festival will feature over 13 food vendors offering dishes with chicken and eggs, as well as stalls run by couples and those born in the Year of the Rooster. A special magic tent will showcase renowned magician SHU, known for his large-scale illusions, performing close-up tricks. This autumn festival at Torikai Shrine offers fun for both adults and children. On Nov. 1, children of elementary school age and younger will be served free chicken curry or chicken pizza.
