The biggest B-1 gourmet festa in Japan will be held in Kitakyushu this year! B-1 stands for B class gourmet– a kind of a simple meal that you can eat quickly and cheaply such as yakisoba or a hot-dog. 63 food stalls will showcase local foods from regional areas across Japan. Sample delicious specialties, meet cute mascot characters, and enjoy a day out! You can vote for your favorite B-1 gourmet item using your chopsticks. Entry to the event is free, however if you plan on buying food, you’ll need to purchase a ticket for ¥1,000.
