Basquiat and N.Y. Artists: Photographs by Roland Hagenberg

START: Sep 8, 2018 END: Oct 21, 2018

See behind the scenes of the fascinating and chaotic world of New York art during the 1980s, beginning with artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. His work continuously increase in value even after 30 years, yet there are hardly any documents and data left which show him when he was alive. This exhibit by Roland Hagenberg will feature photographs as well as interviews of Basquiat while at work in his studio in 1980s New York. It will also feature big name artists Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Robert Mapplethorpe and Louise Bourgeois, the movers and shakers of the 1980s New York art scene who were also friends with Hagenberg.
