British Fair 2020 at Hakata Hankyu

START: Sep 29, 2020 END: Oct 4, 2020

All kinds of items will be on sale at Hakata Hankyu’s British Fair, including products synonymous with a traditional afternoon tea. At the event, visitors can expect to find a selection of goods produced by purveyors to the British royal family. Explore a range of black teas such as Ridgways famous HMB (Her Majesty’s Blend), created for Queen Victoria in 1886. New blends produced by Nauteas’ are also well worth checking out. Nauteas’ young blenders have gained a reputation for drawing their inspiration from cultures all around the world in the development of their teas, so do not miss out. Chocolate chip biscuits, shortbread, and tote bags from the popular London-based deli Melrose and Morgan will also be available. You’re sure to be taken by the stories behind the products on offer, especially the likes of the additive-free smoked salmon hand prepared by the family-owned Hebridean Smokehouse on North Uist in Scotland, and a premium gin made with rose petals and cucumber extract. Live demonstrations will also be taking place at the fair. To give shoppers a chance to familiarize themselves with the products. Stop by the London Summit event to find out what kind of scones are served at The Grove, a well-known five-star hotel in the UK. (Scones will be available to purchase for ¥291).
