Enjoy the European atmosphere of the Christmas season! The 2021 Fukuoka Christmas Market will be held mainly in front of Hakata Station (11/9~) and Tenjin City Hall (11/13~).
While the front of JR Hakata Station is shining brightly with illuminations, Fukuoka’s winter tradition, the Christmas Market will be held again this year. Stalls will sell foods & drinks such as hot wine and sausages as well as traditional Christmas decorations.
The Christmas Market will also be held in the square in front of the city hall in Tenjin. Passing through a huge arch, a wooden Hutte and 100 life-sized Santa figurines welcome you! At the venue paella made in a massive pan as well as other foods will be on offer as well as traditional Christmas decorations.
In addition to Hakata and Tenjin areas, the Nakasu area (Nakasu Chuo-dori, Nakagawa-dori, Meiji-dori, Kokutai-dori, Fukuhaku Deai Bridge) will be illuminated, and “Nakasu Kibou no Hikari,” which connects the Hakata and Tenjin venues, will also be decorated between 11/11 to 1/10.
