Every month, the French Institute of Kyushu broadcasts a French movie followed by a discussion with the director of the Institute. March’s movie is “Sous le ciel d’Alice” (“Under Alice’s sky”). In the 1950s, Alice left Switzerland for Lebanon. There, she fell in love with Joseph, an astrophysicist. But after a few years of dolce vita, the civil war interferes in their paradise… *Screened in French with Japanese subtitles
