Cleaning Day, a recycling culture event from Finland, will be held for the ninth time in Fukuoka. The concept of the market is to enjoy “upcycling” casually and the “3Rs” (reduce, reuse, recycle) by adding new value to waste materials. Coffee goods, wood, paper, the strap of cloth, bargains from professional fields, and products specialized in upcycling will be sold. There will also be workshops where visitors can try their hand at letterpress printing and clay figurine painting.
