Drag Queen No Light, No Queen – Photo by Nagi Yoshida

Photographer Nagi Yoshida presents a new exhibition on at the Fukuoka Art Museum from Tuesday, November 30th to Sunday, December 12th entitled, Drag Queen: No Light, No Queen by Nagi Yoshida. Nagi Yoshida has garnered quite a reputation for her work photographing minority ethnic groups and indigenous peoples. But this time, she has focused her lens on a new motif and turned the spotlight on DRAG QUEEN. This photo exhibition showcases portraits, taken by Nagi Yoshida, of 18 Drag Queens in two cities, New York and Paris, who transcend gender and embody freedom.
