“CLOSETtoCLOSET,” a pop-up store from the new apparel brand “energy closet,” will make its debut at Hakata Hankyu. This innovative brand operates on the concept of a clothing exchange, fostering a direct cycle of reuse.
For a participation fee of ¥3,000, visitors can bring in three items of adult clothing they no longer wear, and in exchange, they can select three pieces from the store’s collection of approximately 200 items. This sustainable approach not only refreshes your wardrobe but also promotes responsible consumption.
To assist you in finding items that suit your style and preferences, in-store coordinators are available for consultation and advice. Additionally, upcycled items, such as eco-bags and cushion covers, created from repurposed materials, are also on sale.
Note: reservations are not required to purchase upcycled items.
