With a history that stretches back more than a thousand years, gagaku is a form of Japanese court performance that has been handed down across the generations, enthralling audiences irrespective of time and social context. Gagaku ensemble Reigakusha, who are active both at home and abroad, will deliver a combined easy to understand talk and dance lecture-performance. Enjoy the show at the noh theater of Sumiyoshi Jinja Shrine, a cultural property of Fukuoka City.
