Here’s your chance to get your hands on a Star Trek donut before the rest of Japan! Onojo City (Fukuoka Pref.) bread shop Ryoyupan is gearing up to launch their special collaboration with Star Trek this August! They’ll be giving away a total of 2,000 limited edition “Star Trek” packaging Manhattan donuts at Canal City South Building (1F) this weekend (7/27 (Sat.) ~ 28 (Sun.). The free donuts will be handed out twice daily to the first 500 people to arrive at 11:00~ and 14:00. The product’s packaging is designed to match the film’s promotional material, and the bakery’s mascot character Ryo-chan is dressed as Spock to tie in with the promo. The donut celebrates the twelfth installment in the Star Trek film franchise “Star Trek Into Darkness” and will be sold throughout the Kyushu and Shikoku areas in August.
