In celebration of the “Art Nouveau Glass – Odes to Nature by Gallé and Daum” special exhibition at Kyushu National Museum, a screening of the French film “The Earrings of Madame de…” (1953) will be held. Set in Paris during the Art Nouveau era, the film stars the captivating actress Danielle Darrieux and is directed by the masterful Max Ophüls. This elegant melodrama adds charm to the history of French cinema.
