Ceramic artist Frida Märlarborn Hoshino, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, will hold a solo exhibition at the gallery adjoining espresso stand TAGSTA. Drawing inspiration from Asian landscapes and techniques, her work features soft textures unique to clay, combined with Scandinavian forms and colors. On display and available for purchase are around 60 pieces, including art objects and plates—many shown in Japan for the first time—highlighting a fabric-like elegance achieved through Japanese ceramic techniques. The artist will be present during the exhibition on April 13 (12:00~18:00) and April 18 (17:00~20:00).
