A night market will be held at the former courthouse site inside Maizuru Park, near the Kaminohashi Gate entrance—an area that recreates the original castle gate from the Edo period. The venue will be lit with lanterns and host a variety of food stalls and kitchen cars, along with nostalgic festival-style games like target shooting and goldfish scooping, plus hands-on workshops for all ages. Over 13 days, visitors can also take part in activities such as making carp streamers for Children’s Day and trying out parkour, which enhances physical ability through movements like running, jumping, climbing, and spinning.
