Around 270 trees inside Maizuru’s plum orchard are expected to come into bloom as the city moves into the spring months. On sunny days between January 27 and February 20, benches covered with red rugs will be set up so that visitors can enjoy the plum blossoms at their leisure. On February 12 and 13, traditional Japanese performing arts such as monkey show and horse riding (for a fee) will be held.
