An exhibition showcasing memorable works, people, and places from Fukuoka’s literature, film, music, design, architecture, and media. Cultural timelines, maps, and works for sale offer insights into the city’s creative history for both those who experienced it firsthand and those discovering it anew. Highlights include musician Masaaki Omura, the influential interior shop “NIC,” and a special edited screening of a Fukuoka-set film by director Gakuryu Ishii. Curated by Minoru Oi, owner of Books Kubrick, and other leading editors from Fukuoka’s cultural scene.
