It’s an e-sports festival to promote Fukuoka City’s esports industry, expand its base, and support new businesses. The festival will also include the Fukuoka Prefecture representative for Gran Turismo 7, a cultural program for the National Athletic Meet to be held in Tochigi this year, and the Fukuoka e-sports Festival 2022. There will also be a “Minecraft for Education” programming class (numbered tickets will be distributed on the day of the event) where participants can create buildings in the image of Fukuoka, mini-game competitions of popular game titles, and interact with professional esports players, allowing people of all ages and both sexes to experience the fun of esports. In a sub-venue, a battle of business idea presentations will be held on the theme of further development of Fukuoka’s e-sports and local industries (live streaming on Twitch will be available on the day of the event).
